Here's a list of some campaigns and organizations directed (and indirected) towards lung cancer inside and outside Malaysia. Take a look.

MALAYSIA

National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM)

Founded by Dato’ Dr S.K. Dharmalingam and launched by the YAB Tun Abdul Razak, NCSM is an non-profit organization which is financed entirely by voluntary contributions from the public. It provides provides holistic cancer treatment and support to patients and caregivers through its five cancer centres and have organized campaigns such as “Together V Give Hope” and Gua Sha Workshop. Official Website.


Malaysian Anti-Cancer Association(MACA)

Approved by the Malaysian Registrar of Societies, MACA, by the founder Prof. Dr. C.C.Wong and several of anti-cancer traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine experts, formed to cancer patients in Malaysia to provide quality support services to ensure patients do not to face cancer alone. MACA provides free cancer information and support then gradually extended to different areas, comprehensive care to cancer patients and their family needs.  Official Website.


Anti-Smoking Quit Campaign 'TAK NAK'  
'Tak Nak' Campaign, in other words, Anti-Smoking Quit Campaign was held to urge Malaysian to quit smoking and this campaign was propagated to school, media and advertisement board where everyone could see it. However, the campaign was said to be a failure according to Dr Chua Soi Lek, the previous Health Minister of Malaysia, as the number of smokers increased gradually from year to year.

Lung Cancer Campaigns Carmarthenshire (LCC)


LCC is a charity that aims to support people and relatives affected by lung cancer within South West Wales by raising funds and awareness as well as provide additional information to lung cancer services, patients and public. LCC has organized several campaigns such as a sponsored walk, junior ride, length and Breath Cycle etc. Offical website.

Quebec Lung Association (QLA)

 
Quebec Lung Association is a registered Canadian charity that works on asthma, emphysema, COPD, tuberculosis, sleep apnea, lung diseases, tobacco, quit smoking, air pollution. As a member of the Canadian Lung Association, the International Union against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease, as well as the World Health Organization, the Association has always been deeply involved in the scientific community's relentless fight against tuberculosis. The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation 


According to the website,The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation is the only charity in United Kingdom dedicated and focus only to defeat lung cancer. They fund lung cancer research, provide support, help support to quit smoking and give a voice to all those lung cancer patients through campaigns. Official Website.

Anti Tobacco Youth Campaign (ATYC)
ATYC is initiative by The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation and aims to give young people include teens a voice knowledge and skills to campaign about smoking and other tobacco issues so that they feel equipped to every areas. Official Website.

The Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation (BJALCF)
BJALCF was has grown into the first international collaborative entity of its kind, raising over $6 million for Lung Cancer research. BJALCF plans, with your help, to become the global leader for Lung Cancer. Just Like Jill Lung Cancer Campaign

Jill, the NCAA Women's Division 1 Rowing Championships 1st runner-up 

Just Like Jill Lung Cancer Campaign is held by BJALCF . The main character is Jill, who as diagnosed by lung cancer in the age of 22. Although she was infected by the cancer, she never gave up and won the 2nd place at the NCAA Women's Division 1 Rowing Championships. The “Just Like Jill” Lung Cancer Research Campaign offers a rare glimpse into the lives of those with Lung Cancer—showing what the disease truly is—and what it isn’t. And do be inspired by their strength and courage. 


Lung Cancer Alliance
Lung Cancer Alliance was founded in year 1995 and its main objective is to provide support and advocacy for people living with or at risk for the disease. The vision of the non-profit organisation is to reduce lung cancer mortality by at least 50% by 2020 while its mission is to lead the movement to reverse decades of stigma and neglect by empowering patients, elevating awareness and changing health policy. World Health Organisation (WHO)
WHO is the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nations system and is responsible for providing leadership on global health matters as well as shaping the health research agenda, setting norms and standards etc. WHO has been an international organisation as it articulates evidence-based policy options, providing technical support to countries and monitoring and assessing health trends. Official Website.

American Lung Association


Its mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease, American Lung Association has a dedicated board of directors and nationwide assembly and also volunteers who donate their time to help the organization plan and achieve its goals which are to eliminate tobacco use, improve air quality and reduce burden of lung disease on patients and their family members.
