Can nonsmokers get lung cancer?
ReplyDeleteYes. Although smoking is the main cause for most lung cancer cases, that doesn't mean that one is safe from lung cancer if he doesn't smoke.
DeleteThere's passive smoking, which is the inhalation of second-hand smoke. That's far more deadly due to the higher concentration of condensate in second-hand smoke. However, there are a load of other factors which result in lung cancer, I'll list a few: radon gas exposure, asbestos exposure and air pollution.
Hope that helps. :)
Lung cancer is preventable, so when will it be curable? =/
ReplyDeleteBtw, nice work on the blog; however, you can try using san-serif fonts for your content e.g., Arial, Verdana, Calibri.. because those fonts are made to be more legible on the computer screen :)
All the best
Thanks for your compliments and suggestions, we will review the suitability of it! :)
DeleteAs for your query, lung cancer has many tested cures, but I think you also know that the chances of recovery gets slimmer with each progressing stage. As for a definite cure, there is currently no guarantee, we can only rely on the best solution recommended by specialist as well as the patient's will to live. But with the improvement in science, I believe a definite cure may be discovered in near future!
Hope this answers your question! :)
........ ^_^ good
ReplyDeleteThanks for your compliment and feel free to ask any question! :)
DeleteAre there any smokers who doesn't get lung cancer at all until the day he died?
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't mean that one WILL definitely get lung cancer if one smokes but a majority of the people who smoke do contract lung cancer. This statement is based on statistics obtained by health organisations throughout the world.
DeleteSince the stats have already said it, isn't it better that we avoid smoking at all costs?
Other than smoke, are there any causes get us to lung cancer ?
ReplyDeleteIn the "History, Cause & Development" part, there are a few links that I'm sure will answer your queries!

ReplyDeleteWhat tests will be done to determine if I have cancer?
(^_^)
There's a section in the blog that answers your first question, do check it out!
DeleteThere are many ways to diagnose for lung cancer, but all of them have their pros and cons. You can check out the "Diagnosis" section in the blog for the comprehensive list of treatments.
Most of the time, however, the doctor would first suggest X-ray, followed by another method which is suitable for the patient.
Hope that answers your question. :)
Is it possible that a smoker doesn't get lung cancer for the rest of his life?
ReplyDeleteThere's no guarantee that one will not get lung cancer if one doesn't smoke.
DeleteBut the possiblity that one who smokes contract lung cancer is SKY-HIGH.
But since the statistics showed that most smokers contract lung cancer, I believe we should avoid that habit, don't you think?

for any special reason you use "Le cancer du poumon",the French translation of lung cancer, as your blog name?

DeleteHope this answers your query!
does our diet influence lung cancer?
ReplyDeleteWell, there ISN'T any known food that causes lung cancer.
DeleteBut what we eat can REDUCE its risk. Since antioxidants, phytoestrogens and cruciferous vegetables are shown to lower the risk of lung cancer, we should take more of greens. Hope that answers your question. :)
